Excitement is reaching its peak as the RMC South African Kart Championships National Final draws near, and Wadeley Racing is prepared to make thier mark on the track. With both Matthew Wadeley and Jordon Wadeley at the helm, the team is primed for an action-packed day of racing in the Senior Max and Junior Max categories respectively.

Matthew Wadeley, currently holding 10th spot in the national standings of the Senior Max category, is aiming to rev up his performance and secure a positive result that will see him ascend a few spots in the rankings. No stranger to the twists and turns of Zwartkops, his recent pre-run showcased promising performance, demonstrating his readiness for the challenges ahead. Matthew expressed his anticipation, stating, “So we’re looking forward to it. My confidence is high after a strong regional race at Zwartkops a few weeks back, and we’re riding the positive momentum from a successful regional event in Cape Town just last weekend. Our kart setup is dialled in perfectly, and we’re well-prepared for the task at hand.”

With a solid strategy in place and a finely tuned kart, Matthew Wadeley is equipped to pursue his goals with determination. Wadeley Racing stands firmly behind him, ready to provide unwavering support every step of the way.

Meanwhile, in the Junior Max category, Jordon Wadeley is set to seize the opportunities presented to him. Currently holding an impressive 3rd position in the national standings, he’s well aware that anything can happen on race day. Jordon’s outstanding performance throughout 2023, both at national and regional levels, has positioned him strongly going into this final round. Reflecting on his aspirations for the weekend, he said, “I’m very excited for this weekend, and I’m feeling confident. We have a solid starting point, and I’m eager to get racing. Thanks to my dad for the team’s support. Let’s do this!”

Team boss Brad Wadeley had the following to add regarding the team’s hopes this weekend. “We had a great regional and made big steps forward at last weekend’s WPMC Karting race. Matthew was closer to Visser than he has ever been and this has given us great confidence going into this weekend’s final. With Jordon, we showed we have the pace at the recent Killarney race, even if the results didn’t go his way. Unfortunately, his kart took a beating last weekend and we have had to put a lot of effort into getting it repaired for him this weekend. Karting is a funny game and we are all excited going into Saturday’s races, Let’s see what happens!”

As the stage is set for a thrilling showdown, all eyes will be on Wadeley Racing to see if their well-laid plans will unfold as intended. The team’s determination and skill will be put to the test, and fans can join in the excitement by following the live streaming to witness the action-packed races.

As the sun sets on Saturday’s prize-giving ceremony, the hopes of Wadeley Racing will be poised for success.
